MENIN GATE, YPRES

The memorial bears the names of more than 54,000 officers and men
 whose graves are not known

The following 8 Brimington men are remembered on the memorial
Names are listed under the Regiment in which the soldier served, then rank.

Because of the vastness of the Menin Gate Memorial and the amount of soldiers remembered there, it can be impossible to actually photograph the name  if it is high up on the panels.

The Panel Numbers quoted at the end of each entry relate to the panels dedicated to the Regiment served with

We have laid a plaque at the Menin Gate on behalf of Brimington every Armistice Day since 2006.

On the centennial year 2014 we laid a special wreath -  see Centennial page
